Music is a vital part of our life as a church. A great illustration of this is the quantity and quality of new music being developed by church members. From classical concerts employing a variety of instrumentalists and a well trained adult choir to young adult fellowships featuring Christian rock, we are committed to using our musical gifts for the glory of God.
On a given Sunday morning, you can expect to worship with a blend of great hymns and well chosen worship songs, led by choir or ensemble. Classical and contemporary instruments, from the pipe organ to congas, are used to provide just the right accompaniment for the music selected. During offerings or reflective portions of worship, we rely on our adult choir, handbell choir, youth choir, children’s choir (the “Praisemeisters”), Good Side of Fine (GS0F) band, and instrumental or vocal ensembles.
To become involved in the music ministry, you need no prior musical training. We provide training! You do need to have heartfelt love for the Lord that is expressed in a personal commitment assist the church in its worship by your own faithful practice and participation.
